Accessibility Statement
Maria's Comrades, which owns and operates ward9nh.org, wants every neighbor to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology, and older adults.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We have not had an independent audit, so we cannot claim full conformance, and we keep working to improve.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard and has a “Skip to main content” link.
- Form fields have visible labels, clear instructions, and plain-language error messages.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap or click comfortably.
- Text is resizable, colors are chosen for contrast, and light and dark appearances are available.
- The Site is mobile-friendly and available in English and Spanish.
Known limitations
Some content may not yet be fully translated into Spanish, and the Site may contain barriers we have not found. Third-party tools we link to may have their own accessibility limitations.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on the Site is hard to use, email [email protected] with the page, what happened, and how you would like to be reached. We will try to respond promptly and offer another way to get the information or service you need.
